There are several systems and programs that Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) should be familiar with in order to effectively serve children in military families. This webinar will provide an introductory orientation for CACs to the military health system and the Armed Forces Center for Child Protection (AFCCP), key partners in responding to child abuse in military families. Participants will learn about military treatment facilities and care available to military-dependent children as well as the TRICARE program. Participants will also learn about the role and scope of the Armed Forces Center for Child Protection. Opportunity for Q&A will follow the presentation.
