Now Hiring: Family Advocate | Children's Legacy Center | Redding, CA
Children's Legacy Center is looking for a compassionate, trauma-informed Family Advocate to join their Children's Advocacy Center team in Redding, CA. This is a full-time role working alongside Multidisciplinary Team partners to support children and families navigating abuse, neglect, and trauma.
What you'll do:
Provide direct advocacy and case management to children and families throughout the forensic interview and medical exam process, connect families to community resources, coordinate with MDT partners, accompany families to court, and support after-hours Pediatric SART responses.
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field (MSW strongly preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and families
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and the criminal justice process
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to cultural humility and equitable service delivery
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00/hr DOE
