  • 2024 CAC Staffing and Salary Survey will launch to the field on May 6, 2024

First done in 2021, the NCA Staffing and Salary survey gathers detailed information about compensation, benefits, workload, and turnover across all staff roles at CACs nationally.  The report from the 2021 survey is a frequently requested resource.  Accordingly, NCA is updating and reprising the survey in 2024 in order to understand trends in staffing and compensation in the field over time, and to provide CACs with current benchmarking data.

On May 6, CAC Leaders will receive an emailed invitation to complete the 2024 Staffing and Salary survey.  Please watch your inboxes for this invite.  In order for the survey to be accurate and useful to the field, NCA needs to hear from every CAC; each CAC is unique, and the factors that are related to staffing and compensation varySurvey submissions will be due June 10, 2024.

Like last time, NCA will create a comprehensive report available to the field that details median salaries and salary ranges for each kind of staff role at CACsWe will do this on a national level, but also by region, CAC size/budget, and whether CACs are primarily urban or rural-serving so that CAC leaders can compare their own organization’s information to that of comparable peers.  We will also share information about average caseloads for different staff roles, and rates of turnover in the field across different staff roles.

If you have questions about this survey, don't see your emailed invitation after May 6, or need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to NCA Program Evaluation Manager, Erin Casey, at ecasey@nca-online.org.

  • We are extending the application deadline for Enhancing Early Engagement (E3) is on February 23rd

We are extending the application deadline till February 23, please use the link below to find out more!  Enhancing early engagement of families in mental health assessment and evidence-base trauma treatment is a priority for CAC leaders through NCA. To address this need, NCA partnered with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) on a training initiative, Enhance Early Engagement Training for CAC Victim Advocates, or E3. E3 aims to increase the proportion of children and their caregivers served by CACs who engage in mental health services.  If you have any questions, please contact Geoff Sidoli, gsidoli@nca-online.org.
